Volunteer for the first on-campus bone marrow drive!Oct. 9, 4-7PM on the BC Plaza, sign up by this weekend
Diya will be working with the Be The Match national registry to run Duke’s first bone marrow registration drive on September 25th. We’re currently looking for final volunteers to help get the word out during the next weeks and to table in 1 hour shifts during the drive.
This is not a time-consuming event, but is something that Diya has a responsibility to be involved with. Email firstname.lastname@example.org this Sunday, September 8th (ASAP is preferred!) to get involved. Easy chance to make a serious difference, so get involved and let your friends know!
Sign up for BigSib!Shorter, easier signup form By now you’ve heard of our BigSib/LilSib program, which matches upperclassmen with freshman Diya members to see what happens. Because it’s such a small time commitment, we want as many upperclassmen to apply as possible. Please fill out this form at bit.ly/diyabigsibby Saturday, September 14. If you haven’t applied yet, the new form is much shorter and simpler than in the past so it should only take 5 minutes! All matches will be revealed at the Freshman Dinner in 2 weeks – date TBA!
Finally, we want to take this space to highlight that we always want to hear your feedback on the events we host and how we can be a better organization. Go to bit.ly/diyafeedback and let us know what you think, or email us anytime at email@example.com.
